Oh how quickly a year goes. Ayden came in for his 1 year photos and brought his new pet bunny. He loved chowing on his cake and playing with his balloons. You can see his newborn session here.

Finally, after almost 4 years of searching for a photo charm that I LOVE, I have found Jewel Kade. I have tried out a few different companies and none seemed to fit what I wanted in a photo charm. My goal was to find consistent quality and affordability, which I found with Jewel Kade photo charms. I also found fantastic style and other jewelry options that I just can’t get enough of. Well I went to an awesome workshop and came home with a few new backgrounds. I have so many and just keep adding more! I don’t think I’ll ever have enough! I also went crazy buying these super adorable headbands and hair clips. Anyway, I bribed Sienna to pose for a few shots. I’m ordering a canvas of the first one to hang in the studio as a sample.

I went to Shannon’s house for her outdoor senior portraits. We had a beautiful day. While on my way I passed the perfect red barn with peeling paint and thought to myself “I wish we could use THAT for some of her photos”. Well come to find out the barn is at the end of her driveway! I was too busy gawking at the barn and missed my turn. I was so excited. She also wanted photos in a field of wildflowers and there was a field just waiting for her photos right next to her house. Talk about a day when everything comes together. Enough of my babbling, here are a few photos.

Alyse – Detroit Senior Portraits

Alyse came in a couple of weeks ago for her Senior photos. She brought her Mom and big sis along with her. We did studio photos then went outside around the studio for her outdoor photos. It was a good thing big sis was along because the mosquitoes were so bad she had to fan Alyse with the reflector so we could get our shots. They were definitely worth fending off mosquitoes.

Twin Seniors – Detroit Photographer

We had a super hot day for these two to do their outdoor photos. They did a great job and didn’t let the heat get the best of them. We hiked through mud and weeds to get their photos and we all felt pretty itchy when we were finished. It was worth it though
