The studio is finally photo ready. We still need to finish a few things, but I’m having sessions in there and lovin’ it! We put large windows across the front and the window light coming in is perfect.

Mom brought cute little Caden in for photos the other day. She wanted to get him in before he lost his ‘baby’ look. He’s such a sweet boy and sat great for us the entire session. Look at those baby blues!

My Favorite Senior Photo of ’08 – Detroit Senior Photographer

I was just thinking the other day about some of my favorite photos from the past year. This one is one of my absolute favorites. We had a great session and Rachel and her mom, Nancy, were super nice. We had planned to do indoor and outdoor photos the day they came, but it poured rain the entire time so we rescheduled for the outdoor photos the following week. This photo was just a real quick, ‘let’s try this’ and voila, it just happens to be my fave. Rachel and Nancy must have really liked it too b/c they ordered it as a wall portrait.

Nancy also sent a very nice email to her friends, I can’t thank her enough . Being referred to family and friends is the greatest compliment. Thank you Nancy and Rachel.

Moms,

I want to share with you this fabulous photographer that took Rachel’s
senior pictures. Angela is so creative and spent hours capturing that
perfect moment. She specializes in maternity and infant photography, but
everything she shoots is magic! Angela works out of her home in Auburn
Hills and I highly recommend her for the personal attention that she gives.
We had a lot of fun with the dress and scenery changes. Print packages and

Wings have arrived – Michigan baby photographer

Yay…my new wings have arrived. I grabbed Brielle for a few test shots, she wasn’t much in the mood. I need to grab Sienna and have her pose for me. I’ll need to give her a bribe though, my little stinker won’t stay still too long without one

Here are a few sample photos of Brielle with the wings. The wings are A-mazing!!

The Tickle Monster is a Big Brother… – Detroit Newborn Photographer

This cute little guy came in with his parents for a maternity session and loved to tickle his Mom’s belly. They didn’t know if they were going to have a boy or a girl, but Big Brother was sure he would have a sister. They were blessed with a sweet baby boy. Baby boy has some rough and tumble days to look forward to with his Big Brother .

Welcome Baby ‘B’ – Oakland County Newborn Photographer

With the Superbowl just a week away I thought I would post a few photos of baby ‘B’. He was so cooperative and slept for us the whole time. I was super excited when Mom and Dad brought their football. I had been wanting to try this shot for a while and when baby ‘B’ was sleeping so soundly it was the perfect opportunity. I’m sure he’ll be watching his first Superbowl next Sunday.

Waiting for wings – Michigan Baby Photographer

Well I finally broke down and ordered a pair of amazing wings from Design Revolution… . I’ve had my eye on them for over a year and finally took the plunge. They should arrive tomorrow or Monday. I’m so excited I grabbed my little angel, Brielle, and the old pair of wings that I made to play around. Here’s a photo of my angelbaby…

Twins!! – Detroit newborn photographer

I had the great privilege of photographing these two sweet boys. I had been wanting to do this shot for a LONG time. It’s almost a necessity that the babies be sleeping. When we started our session only one baby would sleep at a time. We tried to get the shot anyway, with no luck. We would get them into position and one would wake the other. I showed Mom what we were trying to achieve and after she saw it she really WANTED the shot. We went on to some other poses and the boys were fed. After being fed they were both nice and sleepy so just before our session ended we tried once more and VOILA!!!
