New Big Sister – Detroit Newborn Photographer

This little guy and his big sis did a wonderful job during their session. He got cozy and slept away while big sis nibbled his ear and made some silly smiles above his back. In the end she gave me the cutest look and we got the first photo below. I just love that serious look.

My little Sienna turned 5 Monday, where does the time go? Kids just grow up too fast! I told her she was growing too fast and I wanted her to stay little. We had her party last Saturday and it turned out great…perfect weather and the kids had a blast playing in the little pool and slipNslide.

I’m so excited to have taken Brady’s first birthday photos. His mom and I were friends when we were younger and it was great to see her again. We’ll definitely be planning play dates for our kids so they can have some fun while we catch up.

I was so happy to see these two handsome little guys. I’ve been photographing the oldest for the past couple of years and the youngest since he was newborn and this was his 1 year photo session. The time just goes by so quickly.

We couldn’t do his 1 year photos without a birthday cake. He didn’t get too messy, but I think he loved the cake.

We’re so excited for the snow to melt and warmer weather that we’ve decided to have a Spring Special. The cost is $30 and includes a 15 minute mini session with Snowball. Special portrait packages are also available for this special. This event will take place on February 19th in the new studio. Space is limited and will fill up fast for this one day event. The weather was so beautiful today so I took Sienna and Brielle out to play. Brielle didn’t last long and after she snuggled down for her nap Sienna and I went back out. I pulled her in the sled, boy that’s a workout , and we made snow angels. I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to get some outdoor practice with my camera so I snapped a few photos as well. Sienna’s favorite color is green and she’s wearing her hat made especially for her by her Grandma. I haven’t posted anything of Sienna lately and thought I would share a couple of my favorites from today.

Amber and I had a super fun session. She wanted to get something different for her fiance for his birthday and called me to do maternity photos. I’m sure he loved his gift! They will soon be having a little girl. It’s about time to add more girl power to their family. Until baby girl arrives the ratio is 3 boys to 1 girl.
