I’m having my first Trunk Show, Monday September 20 from 7:30pm – 9:30pm. Everyone who makes a purchase will receive a $25 studio credit and have their name entered into a drawing to win other photo related prizes.

My little girl is growing too fast – Detroit family photographer

My little Sienna turned 5 Monday, where does the time go? Kids just grow up too fast! I told her she was growing too fast and I wanted her to stay little. We had her party last Saturday and it turned out great…perfect weather and the kids had a blast playing in the little pool and slipNslide.

I was so happy to see these two handsome little guys. I’ve been photographing the oldest for the past couple of years and the youngest since he was newborn and this was his 1 year photo session. The time just goes by so quickly.

We couldn’t do his 1 year photos without a birthday cake. He didn’t get too messy, but I think he loved the cake.

We’re so excited for the snow to melt and warmer weather that we’ve decided to have a Spring Special. The cost is $30 and includes a 15 minute mini session with Snowball. The weather was so beautiful today so I took Sienna and Brielle out to play. Brielle didn’t last long and after she snuggled down for her nap Sienna and I went back out. I pulled her in the sled, boy that’s a workout , and we made snow angels. I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to get some outdoor practice with my camera so I snapped a few photos as well. Sienna’s favorite color is green and she’s wearing her hat made especially for her by her Grandma. I haven’t posted anything of Sienna lately and thought I would share a couple of my favorites from today.

Amber and I had a super fun session. She wanted to get something different for her fiance for his birthday and called me to do maternity photos. I’m sure he loved his gift! They will soon be having a little girl. It’s about time to add more girl power to their family. Until baby girl arrives the ratio is 3 boys to 1 girl.

My Favorite Senior Photo of ‘08 – Detroit Senior Photographer

I was just thinking the other day about some of my favorite photos from the past year. This one is one of my absolute favorites. We had a great session and Rachel and her mom, Nancy, were super nice. We had planned to do indoor and outdoor photos the day they came, but it poured rain the entire time so we rescheduled for the outdoor photos the following week. This photo was just a real quick, ‘let’s try this’ and voila, it just happens to be my fave. Rachel and Nancy must have really liked it too b/c they ordered it as a wall portrait.

Nancy also sent a very nice email to her friends, I can’t thank her enough . Being referred to family and friends is the greatest compliment. Thank you Nancy and Rachel.

I want to share with you this fabulous photographer that took Rachel’s
senior pictures. Angela is so creative and spent hours capturing that
perfect moment. She specializes in maternity and infant photography, but
everything she shoots is magic! Angela works out of her home in Auburn

Yay…my new wings have arrived. I grabbed Brielle for a few test shots, she wasn’t much in the mood. I need to grab Sienna and have her pose for me. I’ll need to give her a bribe though, my little stinker won’t stay still too long without one
