Have you seen Matilda Jane clothing? It is super cute and beautiful to photograph. They offer sizes from 12 months – adult.

I’m having my first Trunk Show, Monday September 20 from 7:30pm – 9:30pm. Everyone who makes a purchase will receive a $25 studio credit and have their name entered into a drawing to win other photo related prizes.

I’ll be out of town until Monday, August 16. We’re heading up north to play in the gorgeous lakes in the area. My girls and their cousins are throwing candy in the parade. I’m excited to see how they do. I won’t have access to internet and limited access to my phone.

My little girl is growing too fast – Detroit family photographer

My little Sienna turned 5 Monday, where does the time go? Kids just grow up too fast! I told her she was growing too fast and I wanted her to stay little. We had her party last Saturday and it turned out great…perfect weather and the kids had a blast playing in the little pool and slipNslide.

The studio is finally photo ready. We still need to finish a few things, but I’m having sessions in there and lovin’ it! We put large windows across the front and the window light coming in is perfect.

Well my hubby and I decided not to exchange gifts with each other this year. Our girls will enjoy it more and it’s much more fun to watch them open their gifts.

Now a photographer friend tells me about these awesome camera bags by Kelly Moore and I just WANT one! They recently had their grand opening. I think I may have to get one for myself for Christmas. I’m torn between the Cranberry Croc and Rich Fuchsia, hmmmm.

My sweet Angel’s – Detroit children photographer

We got the wings out again! The last time I tried for some cute photos of my girls as angels it didn’t work out. Brielle didn’t smile in any. We tried again Monday and I’m so excited at what we got. I’m getting one of each girl printed B-I-G, or as a huge canvas. I still have to decide which ones I’m printing.

We’ll soon be running an Angel special so keep an eye out!

Spring is finally here!! – Detroit children photographer

I’m so excited that Spring is finally here. I’m ready for warmer weather, blue skies, green grass and photographing outside. I love taking photos of children outdoors, they have so much fun and you can see/feel it in the photos. We have a nice area at the studio for outdoor sessions and there are some local parks that are just gorgeous!

We didn’t get a chance to go outside yesterday, but we did have a cute floppy ear’d visitor. His name is Snowball and he was the perfect bunny. The children had a great time visiting with him and we got some great photos too.

The weather was so beautiful today so I took Sienna and Brielle out to play. Brielle didn’t last long and after she snuggled down for her nap Sienna and I went back out. I pulled her in the sled, boy that’s a workout , and we made snow angels. I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to get some outdoor practice with my camera so I snapped a few photos as well. Sienna’s favorite color is green and she’s wearing her hat made especially for her by her Grandma. I haven’t posted anything of Sienna lately and thought I would share a couple of my favorites from today.
