The Grind Workshop

I had a wonderful time attending the Grind workshop here in Detroit. It was put on by Andy Armstrong of design|house. He offers some amazing actions and templates. There’s also a wealth of information on his website for using photoshop.

We had a great group of people and models over the 2 days. So much learning and fun. One of the model couples were friends of mine. Shana and Jason. Jason is also in a band and available to book for shows and events, check out his site, www.jasonpyzik.com Here are a couple of their images. I will post some of the other models after I receive their model releases.

I’m back! Just got back from a rockin’ photography bootcamp in Nashville, TN. I’m getting caught up on sleep. It’s tough to set the clocks back then go to a state (the next day) that is an hour behind us. It was a great bootcamp, I learned a lot and met a bunch of other great photographers. I can’t wait to implement some of the great things I learned.

We had a beautiful day, and met at a local Metro Detroit park. These two were such a cute couple. They’ve been married over five years, but it felt like we were doing an engagement session. They brought their cute bulldog, Rocky, who was soo adorable.

These 2 were such a cute couple when they came in for maternity photos. They are now a family of 3! Their new bundle of joy was born May 21. They brought little Samuel in for his newborn photos when he was just over 2 weeks. Here are some of my fave’s from both sessions.

They are moving to California for a great opportunity so I wish them the best of luck.

Welcome to the new blog.

I always have to make things crazy so, of course, I had to create a blog that was totally customized. I’m still trying to figure things out and our second baby is due May 20, but will probably arrive sooner. I just hope I can think of enough things to talk about!

I’m updating the look and feel of the website as well. You can still access it at www.dezinepoint.com . The link for the new site will be www.angelacoventry.com . I am phasing out the DeZine Point name because I was never really happy with it.

I plan to post a variety of things on the blog, such as: specials, sneak peeks of photo sessions, special events and new products being offered. Be sure to check back often for new updates.
