I photographed this little cutie a few weeks ago.  She was only 6 days old and slept perfectly!  I just love sleepy newborns.  They are so easy to squish into the cutest poses, as you can see:

I just love this twiggy basket, it is one of my greatest finds (at least lately )

Little Theodore arrived almost 2 weeks after his due date, I think he was waiting for warm weather and sunshine.  He was just 6 days old for our session and look at that hair!  Big sister Meredith is doing great helping mom take care him.

**No trees were harmed in the making of these images** :)  We had some high winds a few weeks ago and a branch fell from one of our trees that I quickly had my husband prepare as a prop.

I went to a fellow photographer and friend’s house last weekend to photograph these super cute twins.  They slept when we needed them to and we got to try a bunch of new things.  I was so excited to use the basket of sticks.  I also got the chance to do the baseball shot.  I’ve been wanting to do the baseball shot for quite some time.  I put my Dad on the hunt for a nice worn mitt and he found the perfect one.   Here are a few of my faves…

We got the wings out again!  The last time I tried for some cute photos of my girls as angels it didn’t work out.  Brielle didn’t smile in any.  We tried again Monday and I’m so excited at what we got.  I’m getting one of each girl printed B-I-G, or as a huge canvas.  I still have to decide which ones I’m printing.

We’ll soon be running an Angel special so keep an eye out!

I’m so excited that Spring is finally here.  I’m ready for warmer weather, blue skies, green grass and photographing outside.  I love taking photos of children outdoors, they have so much fun and you can see/feel it in the photos.  We have a nice area at the studio for outdoor sessions and there are some local parks that are just gorgeous!

We didn’t get a chance to go outside yesterday, but we did have a cute floppy ear’d visitor.  His name is Snowball and he was the perfect bunny.  The children had a great time visiting with him and we got some great photos too.

I had the honor of photographing these twins when they were newborn and now they are already 6 months old!! These little bundles look totally opposite of one another and I think it just makes them even more special. We got plenty of photos of them individually, but how can you resist two little cuties. Here’s a sneak peek from Mom, Dad and Grandma…

I had a wonderful time attending the Grind workshop here in Detroit.  It was put on by Andy Armstrong of design|house. He offers some amazing actions and templates. There’s also a wealth of information on his website for using photoshop.

We had a great group of people and models over the 2 days. So much learning and fun. One of the model couples were friends of mine.  Shana and Jason.  Jason is also in a band and available to book for shows and events, check out his site, www.jasonpyzik.com Here are a couple of their images. I will post some of the other models after I receive their model releases.

Mom brought cute little Caden in for photos the other day.  She wanted to get him in before he lost his ‘baby’ look.  He’s such a sweet boy and sat great for us the entire session.  Look at those baby blues!

Please help me in wishing Kendell ‘Good Luck’!  She is auditioning for the show ‘So you think you can dance’, an entertainment spot on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship and Disney in Florida.  Kendell and her Mom came in last week for headshots and a couple of full shots.  We had a fun session, with many background changes.  These were my two favorites.

I received an email from Albina late last week about doing her maternity session.  She mentioned that she was 38 weeks so I called her right away and squeezed them in on Sunday.  It breaks my heart when someone wants to do a maternity session and they miss their opportunity because the baby decides to arrive early.  We got them finished, so now we’re ready for the new little guy to enter the world.

Albina and Vadim were such a joy to work with.  Albina had such the perfect belly and great clothes to show it off.  Their baby boy is due on Valentine’s Day, what a Valentine’s gift :)!  So, not to keep them waiting any longer, here’s their sneak peek…
